Shropshire properties fit for a King!

Here at Samuel Wood, we like working with all sorts of people and marketing all sorts of properties.

From small and petite, to unique and quirky, to family homes and those with character and history.

Helping people buy, sell, and rent their homes is what we have been doing for decades and we love it!

From bedsits to bastions, every home is individual and just perfect for someone and their story.

They say an Englishman’s home is his castle, and that’s how we treat each and every customer we meet, and we love hearing their stories and about their homes.

So, on the eve of one of the most historical events to happen in our country in most of our lifetimes (even if you aren’t a Royalist, it’s still history in the making) we thought we would share a bit about the story of Prince Charles, our very soon-to-be King of the UK, and the Commonwealth.

And we’d like to show you a few of our current properties, which are on the grander scale of things (though obviously, they don’t rival an actual royal residence!)

Prince Charles

Prince Charles Philip Arthur George was born at Buckingham Palace on 14th November 1948 at 9.14pm, weighing 7lbs 6oz.

The young Prince became heir apparent in 1952 at the age of three and went on to become the longest-serving Prince of Wales. On Saturday, he will be crowned King.

The Coronation

On Saturday, 6 May, King Charles III will become the 40th Sovereign to be crowned at Westminster Abbey, with The Queen Consort being crowned beside him.

Westminster Abbey has been the setting for every Coronation since 1066, with William the Conqueror being the first monarch to be crowned there.

The Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II was the first to be televised and for most people, it was the first time they had watched an event on television.

Their Majesties’ Coronation will be the first to be live-streamed via social media!
